ABSTRACT

Integrated medical education, namely medical education under the concept of integration, is an important trend in the development of global medical education, and also an important task in the re-form of medical universities and colleges in China. The integrated medical education abroad originated from Europe and America, and developed relatively well. It started late in China and was limited to integration of some subjects. At present, the reform of integrated medical education in domestic colleges and universities is still facing the problems and challenges such as lag of teaching ideas, limited content of reform, insufficient teachers' ability, difficulty to change learning habits, deviations of learning purposes, lack of integrated learning, lack of system, poor mechanism, weak guarantee and so on. In the future, we should make efforts to teach, learn and manage, give full play to the leading role of "teaching", improve the main position of"learning", and constantly improve the guarantee function of "management".

ABSTRACT

Objective To provide an index system and model for evaluating the development strategies of military preventive medicine (MPM).Methods SWOT was used to analyze the internal and external conditions of the development strategies of MPM,and the evaluation index system was constructed. The weight of each evaluation index was determined based on the analytic hierarchy process (AHP) and expert consultation. The evaluation model of MPM development strategies and confrontation matrix were constructed based on SWOT analysis. The effectiveness of the index system and model was evaluated through empirical research. Results The evaluation index system was constructed, which included four grade-one indexes (R&D quality, difficulty, requirement and support) and sixteen grade-two indexes (research level, academic status,etc.).The advantage and disadvantage models, opportunity threat model and SWOT evaluation model were established. The confrontation matrix of development strategies for MPM was developed. Conclusion This evaluation index system and model can accurately evaluate MPM development strategies and provide reference for formulating development strategies of MPM.

ABSTRACT

Objective To explore the impact of biological big data on clinical study management. Methods To understand the changeof clinical study resulted from big data from the perspectiveof scientific study management. Results Bigdata Clinical Trial (BCT) based on massive clinical study data will turn out to be one of the most important parts of clinical study gradually.General rules target population will be obtained from clinical study model of the whole population.Reality fact will be more closely approached by the results of study on macro factors.Precise trend of dynamic changes can be demonstrated via data of full time linear tracking studies.Data collection will include those unordered data which are potentially inaccurate andregarded as useless in small data time. Conclusions Revolutionary changes will be presented in clinical study model in which data acquisition and info analysis are used as the primary approaches in big data era,and prediction of clinical study developmenttrend based on big data as well as innovation of management model for clinical study will make power ful support for better utilization of big data tools and accomplishment for big data realization and precision technology.

ABSTRACT

The situational teaching of the course of introduction to medical humanities has some problems, such as low participation, poor communication, and lack of humanities thought. By reading text and creating text, narrative medicine can make students deeply participate in the scene, provide an intro-spective opportunity of being close to the patients, and make students better redefine the story of the other so as to be able to help patients to take a positive view of the disease. Therefore, by using the method of reading text and creating text of narrative medicine, this paper has studied the “4+3” situational teaching model reform of the course of “introduction to medical humanities”, analyzed the present situation and achievements and pointed out that the teaching should pay attention to the key elements, which is “to build a correct value view of medical humanistic, strengthen the emotional education of humanistic care, as well as culture humanistic knowledge and culture humanistic ability”, and it has also put forward some sugges-tions on improving the teaching level of“Introduction to medical humanities”in the future.

ABSTRACT

As the understanding of science creativity becomes more profound, people find out that organizational barriers are greatly deterring and discouraging the advent and development of science creativity.Drawing upon the Situation Theory of Creativity and earlier researches,we identified crucial organizational factors that imposed influence on science creativity and considered those factors as gauge to reflect on the current practice of science research management in China. The findings show that science research funding mode, collaboration and communication opportunities and accesses, science researchers' career development and evaluation system, research group leadership, size and diversity of research teams are all key components of the organizational barriers that failed to nurture and spur Chinese researchers to solve long existed and challenging problems with original approaches and creative thinking. Therefore, innovations of science research management are necessary and urgent.

ABSTRACT

Objective To study the incentives created by both government service purchase mode and direct funding mode on village clinics. Methods Sampling on village clinics in 24 counties in Guizhou province,to learn their public health services and villagers' satisfaction under both modes. Results Except for the infectious disease report, health lectures and health records, values of most public health service indexes of the government purchase services group are better than those of the direct investment one (P<0.05).Villagers' satisfaction scores for facilities and service attitude showed no significant difference between the two modes, but the purchase services mode was better than direct funding one in other dimensions and comprehensive scores (P< 0.05).Conclusion Government purchase of health services has a great potential to improve the service efficiency of village clinics. It is,however, imperative to further break the monopoly, identify reasonable purchasing projects and approaches, and construct scientific supervision mechanisms to achieve incentive-compatible effects.
